Board of Directors
Lynn Mason
In 2005, Lynn
and Joe built their home in Chester River Beach and in 2020 Lynn joined the CRB
board. In 2017, Joe was instrumental in
collecting funds for getting the channel dredged and worked closely with the MDE.
Lynn has always wanted to give back and enjoys event planning. She planned her waterfront home wedding in 2009 and had 130 guests. It was a natural fit to take on the role of social committee chair when activities opened back up in 2021 (post covid). Since 2021, she has hosted several Easter parties, yard sales, 4th of July potlucks, movie nights, Halloween parties and chili cook-offs. Also added under her tenure were Halloween and Christmas light decorating contests and a Mardi Gras party at the VFW (started in 2025)
Lynn is a commercial lender for a regional bank and is on three philanthropic boards including the American Red Cross. She is also on the Liquor Board of Queen Anne’s County.
Lynn enjoys boating, scuba diving, traveling and family time. She also loves animals and gives generously to Savings Future Feral Cats and Chesapeake cats and dogs.
My husband and I built our home in 2000. We began as part-timers but since retiring, we're here the majority of the time. I started with the HOA in 2022 as a board member. I attend the monthly meetings regularly. I also assist the treasurer with sending out mailings, processing payments, trailer stickers and key fobs. I joined the HOA to support our wonderful community which I'm so blessed to be a part of!
My family and I moved to our neighborhood in the summer of 2019 and I’m excited to have joined the board last fall to become more actively involved in community initiatives. I previously volunteered and served on the board of the Quaint Acres Community Association Board and led the safety and governance committees. We were successful in getting our county to provide additional lighting and a traffic light at an intersection to allow community residents to safely cross a busy intersection. Since joining the CRBC and Queen Anne’s County I volunteer with a local charity and am an active member of St. Christopher’s parish.
I am enthusiastic about the HOA board and look forward to contributing fresh perspectives and ideas to enhance our neighborhood. I love all the wonderful community events that the board has been hosting since we moved here like the Chili cookoff, community clean-up/dumpster day and the Fourth of parade. I’d love to help contribute to these initiatives and work to improve the quality of life for all residents and preserve the wonderful attributes that make this community special.
As a board member, I will prioritize open communication channels to ensure all residents are informed about important decisions and have opportunities to provide feedback. I will work diligently to maintain fiscal responsibility, ensuring that HOA funds are allocated efficiently and transparently for the benefit of the community. I want to help increase resident participation in HOA social activities and other committees, fostering a stronger sense of belonging and community pride. By working together collaboratively and with a shared sense of purpose, we can continue to have a welcoming community where everyone feels valued and supported.
