Meet Your CRBCA Board of Directors
Executive Board
Kim Hannon, President

Kim and her husband Bob moved to the community in 2009, soon after that Kim became a board member, first as Secretary for many years, and most recently, as President. Kim also had previous HOA board experience during her residency in AA Co for over 10 years, which helped knowing how things worked in an all volunteer board scenario. Working together with the all volunteer board has helped to keep our community running smoothly over the years. It also allows CRB to keep our annual HOA fees low by not needing a community management company. We are lucky to have homeowners willing to help. She has enjoyed helping on the events and community improvement committees, as well as taking care of the website, emails and event updates to the community.
Kim is the owner of Ophiuroidea "the O", a coastal boutique & gift shop in the Kent Narrows near the Hilton Garden Inn. Kim loves to travel, go to the beach, cheering on the O's and enjoying friends and family get togethers. I look forward to helping Chester River Beach Community thrive in any way that I can.
Janet Boldyga, Vice- President

I am Janet Boldyga and I have lived in Chester River Beach, next to the community park, for 25 years. As the Vice President of the current Board, I have worked diligently to help our team make life enjoyable for all the residents. In addition to working with our Board, I've accommodated residents with park usage reservations, opening the gate for contractors who need access to the park area, keeping the dog bags stocked, etc.

My husband and I built our home in 2000. We began as part-timers but since retiring, we're here the majority of the time. I started with the HOA in 2022 as a board member. I attend the monthly meetings regularly. I also assist the treasurer with sending out mailings, processing payments, trailer stickers and key fobs. I joined the HOA to support our wonderful community which I'm so blessed to be a part of!

My family and I moved to our neighborhood in the summer of 2019 and I’m excited to have joined the board last fall to become more actively involved in community initiatives. I previously volunteered and served on the board of the Quaint Acres Community Association Board and led the safety and governance committees. We were successful in getting our county to provide additional lighting and a traffic light at an intersection to allow community residents to safely cross a busy intersection. Since joining the CRBC and Queen Anne’s County I volunteer with a local charity and am an active member of St. Christopher’s parish.
I am enthusiastic about the HOA board and look forward to contributing fresh perspectives and ideas to enhance our neighborhood. I love all the wonderful community events that the board has been hosting since we moved here like the Chili cookoff, community clean-up/dumpster day and the Fourth of parade. I’d love to help contribute to these initiatives and work to improve the quality of life for all residents and preserve the wonderful attributes that make this community special.
As a board member, I will prioritize open communication channels to ensure all residents are informed about important decisions and have opportunities to provide feedback. I will work diligently to maintain fiscal responsibility, ensuring that HOA funds are allocated efficiently and transparently for the benefit of the community. I want to help increase resident participation in HOA social activities and other committees, fostering a stronger sense of belonging and community pride. By working together collaboratively and with a shared sense of purpose, we can continue to have a welcoming community where everyone feels valued and supported.
